On October 21st 2008

at just over 9 years old

Our Salem left us.

There were no signs of him

being ill at all.

We are devastated at losing him.

He taught us so much about love

and loyalty.

Always had a smile on his face,

Loved his cuddles.

He would speak to let us know

what he wanted.

Always showed us how happy he was

with a tail that was always wagging.

Even the night before he died,

as I patted his head, he gave me a waggy tail.

He Left us in the early hours

around 3.30am.

So I never got to say goodbye to him.
